Nephrology

Nephrology is a branch of internal medicine that deals with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of kidney function and diseases.

In addition to a detailed conversation and clinical examination, the nephrological examination is expanded, depending on the indication, with:

• laboratory tests of blood and urine,
• ultrasound examination of the kidneys and urinary tract,
• MSCT of the urinary tract,
• microbiological analyses.
